Job Duties:
The Technical Advisor/Trainer supports the Automotive Refinish Sales team and customers on GFS and REVO products and projects by demonstrating GFS and REVO products to potential customers. The position also provides technical training to customers and other GFS team members and drives the technical training of practical use of GFS and REVO products. This includes:
- Technical training of GFS and REVO products focused on the use of GFS and REVO products as they are used in the collision repair process;
- Management of the GFS Training Center including: schedule, maintenance of equipment, preparation for training events;
- Development and/or maintenance of GFS practical use training materials, SOPs, and best practice materials;
- Demonstrations of GFS and REVO products both at GFS’ training center and other partner locations;
- Technical training of GFS and REVO products to end user customers at their location;
- Working with industry partners to ensure GFS is utilizing industry acceptable products and procedures in all training and demonstrations;
- Communicate the technical justifications of utilizing GFS REVO product based on a customer’s paint process and product. Explain the effect primer, paint and/or sealer chemistry and environment has on speed, time and cure.
